EVENT MANAGEMENT

Overall event management services including developing a comprehensive project plan, key milestones, risk mitigation, and aligning resources and appropriate systems for delivery.

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

We have an excellent track record in delivering events within budget and maximising your event investment. We obtain the best price possible from all suppliers for your event, our pricing structure is based on our retaining standard industry commissions.

REGISTRATION

We provide a secure and user-friendly online registration system and we support this by phone or email.  Online registration also provides powerful 24/7 reporting so you are always accessing live and accurate data. 

 

PROGRAMME

A smooth programme flow is essential for a successful event. We have developed a wide range of programme formats and are experienced in organising and managing diverse cultural needs. We have worked with a range of presenters, including supporting first time presenters.

LOGISTICS

We will negotiate and manage contracts on your behalf including; delivering on the day briefings, ensuring attendee dietary needs are met and any event changes are incorporated into delivery. 

ON THE DAY

On the day you can relax and host event attendees. We will prepare a run sheet for the event which includes all the information needed for successful on the day management. You can be reassured that the support is in place to deliver your conference smoothly and seamlessly. 

SPONSORSHIP & EXHIBITION

Sponsors and exhibitors provide an opportunity to bring your conference objectives to life.  We will work with you to develop realistic and attractive sponsorship packages.  We are experienced at securing sponsorship and meeting sponsors profiling needs at the event.

EVENT MARKETING

We support your event marketing to ensure maximum exposure. From setting up email campaigns to designing your event website we have experience to add value to your promotional efforts. 

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS 

 We provide a complete online call for abstracts platform for collection and review for conference abstracts, all to your specifications. Our systems provide reporting keeping you in control of your event programme development

SOCIAL

Social functions provide valuable networking opportunities for attendees as well as adding some fun and flair to your event. We will work with you to select a great venue, theming and entertainment through to managing guests and budget. 

EVENT TECHNOLOGY

Event technology is more accessible than ever, and range from live polls, live Q&A technologies through to apps that include gamification. Regardless of your event budget, we can advise and source solutions that complement the delivery and attendee experience. 

PUBLICATIONS

We have vast experience in production of event publications and collateral. Publications can include name badges, handbooks through to printed collateral and giveaways for attendees. Our team can support you with the whole process, from drafting content, to design and production.

Starting from a grass roots company delivering top team style team building activities, Paardekooper and Associates has been built on a backbone of Kiwi ingenuity, transparency and nurturing solid relationships.

Luke Paardekooper started the company in 1987 and was soon joined by Kaye in 1992. Luke and Kaye introduced the world of events to their daughter, Debbie, from a young age and the rest is history!

Through changes and developments over the years, we have consistently delivered events in a range of shapes and sizes - including awards dinners, one day forums through to 4-day multi-stream conferences for 900.

Our team are constantly working to develop and refine our services, ensuring that we deliver excellent event experiences that exceed attendee satisfaction and ultimately, your expectations.

Luke Paardekooper 
Director

Luke founded the company in 1987 providing team building and company incentive conferences.  Since that time, under Luke's leadership, Paardekooper and Associates has evolved into a highly skilled team of professional conference event organisers.  

Luke is passionate about life and loves tramping, the outdoors and  exploring historical perspectives.

 

Debbie Paardekooper
Senior Event Manager

Debbie is a senior event manager with an interest in creating modern, environmentally friendly, and fabulously delivered conferences, expos and festivals for clients.  She has worked in the event industry for over 10 years and has been a part of major corporate events since attending her first conference at Millbrook, aged 6 weeks. From day one her goal has been to find out everything there is to know about the industry in order to passionately deliver superb events for her clients. 

When not working events, Debbie enjoys discovering new DIY ideas for her home, throwing clay, spending time with her family and planning her next project.

 

Rebecca Weeks
Event Manager

Rebecca brings 7 years' experience to her role as an event manager, having worked across a wide variety of events, both corporate and government, from conferences to festivals. She has a passion for working with clients to encourage sustainability, and enjoys keeping abreast of innovation in the event industry. With a strong eye for detail and a cool head in times of challenges, Rebecca’s involvement in events ensures seamless event delivery and proactive event management. 

At home, Rebecca is busy with her family but is a passionate gardener and loves spending time in the outdoors.

 

Kaye Paardekooper
Director

Kaye joined Paardekooper and Associates in 1991, bringing her skills and experience in project management and leadership to arranging and delivering client events, conferences and team programmes. More recently, Kaye's focus in the company is on governance and contracts.  

Kaye is community focused, serving voluntarily on a number of Boards and Trusts, and she also loves cycling and tramping in the outdoors.
